I'm the lonely princess with the knight so strong, so bold
I can feel my breaths grow weak as I exhale my fears
Lying in your arms tonight, I'll never shed a tear
Others call me crazy when I say I've found this dream
Though, I know it's all because they're tearing at the seams
One day, they will find it, such a love to call their own…
When they'll have the strength to say they'll never be alone…

Little Girl

Dear imagination, can't you be the thing you were
Butterflies and daffodils and happiness so pure
Sunny skies and lullabies and dreams of what could be
Hidden worlds and wonderlands of things they couldn't see
Shining gowns and silver crowns for dancing with the prince
Twirling with excitement, though the others weren't convinced

Dear intimidation, did you find it to be true
All I ever needed was an overdose of you
Silly stares and laughter slowly flood a child's mind
Making me abandon every daydream I could find
Lost beneath the shadows of the sky so dark and dead
Far too weak to turn around, yet scared of things ahead

ExistenceBroken, empty promises, a world so dull and dead
Leaving me to suffer as I hang upon this thread
Tears of glass begin to fall, a heartbeat made of stone
I was left to struggle for a worthless, lovely throne

Dreadful, lost emotions, slowly flowing through my veins
Aching thoughts and torture causing fatal bits of pain
Shadows swallow all I was and all I am to be
Slicing off my wings, and now demanding I be free

Poison sneaking through my breaths and deep into my soul
Pieces lost have been replaced to make a damaged whole
Anger rushing through my mind, for me, for them, for this
I have felt emotion for a thought that can't exist…

In a Little Girl's MindThere sits the girl with the things in her eyes
Monsters, destruction, and sweet butterflies
Hopscotch and daisies, surrounded by screams
Beautiful dresses now torn at the seams
Crayons and paintbrushes, villains and grins
Young, gladsome innocence, hatred and sins
Little red houses on roads left to fade
Gorgeous moonlight shining off of the blade
Blood pouring out as she cries her own name
Knowing she's forced to take each bit of blame
She could have stopped it and left it behind
All of these things in her troubled young mind
She could have saved them if she dared to try
Rather, though, she left herself there to die.

Out of ClayHeartbeats beating rapidly, the ocean on the shore
Bleeding thoughts of something special, something so much more
Simple dreams and melodies are scattered on the floor
Shutting out the memories by slamming solid doors

Bathing in the light of lost and broken yesterdays
Here I am, a seriously twisted game to play
How could you make us believe that everything’s okay
Forming human beings out of masks and out of clay…

Every moment, every thought, an echo in your mind
Every treasured lullaby you're forced to leave behind
Every broken moment, every twisted fantasy
Every empty shadow, every lonely melody
Holding knives against your skin with tears inside your eyes
Fighting back the happiness, yet fighting back the cries
How could one be joyous at a moment such as this?
Something could be stopping you, but nothing truly is…

Underwater LoveAs we stand on the edge of the boat,
Gazing out at the ocean in front of us,
I can't help but think of your eyes,
Such lipid blue pools of beauty and tranquility,
Two beautiful spheres that resemble,
The immense landscape that will soon encompass us both,
With hands tightly locked,
And inhibitions cast to the wind,
We both take a deep breath,
And make the leap of faith,
Feeling the warmth of the surface quickly disappear,
Leaving only the breathtaking rush of the crystal-blue sea,
As I open my eyes, I see you swimming there,
My vision of perfection more beautiful than a mermaid,
Seeking some warmth, I immediately swim over to yo

Rousing, yet delicate.

coming off your mouth.
Breathless against the air.

I could taste the sky last night.
September apple smooth.
Deep, pink sweet.
Sweet as the inward smile on your lips,
recalling our pleasure.

The sky last night had your voice.
That faint recollection of you.
A love thumbprint.
A touch. A dream.
Against the quiet dusk.

My mind has played the nights' sky.
I am stunned by its beauty.

Love PoemMy love, last night I dreamt with your sweet face

The mere thought of our love lights up my heart

And at midnight I miss your warm embrace

Wishing we could go back again to start

Because the present is too tormenting

It's hard to go on with such heavy weight

But for you I'd do anything darling

No storm can stop me from loving ever

An everlasting promise I make you

My heart you'll have wherever and whenever

Dark Disguise

Feel the broken heartbeats ripping through your troubled soul
Tearing through your very skin to take complete control
Hear the words among your tongue through voices not your own
Slicing through the air and fighting for the golden throne

Sorrowful, you disappear into the shadows thick
Blanketing yourself with thoughts so cruel, so cold, so sick
Knowing that if only you had someone to be near
Every aching memory would likely disappear

Shattered bits of moonlight shine upon the broken earth
Proving once again how much an echo may be worth
Let the damaged hearts unite and save them from the lies
Let them see that love is not always a

You, my dearYou, my dear, are beautiful.
Your eyes are a myriad of colours,
That I can simply melt into.
Just stare into their endless depths,
While they pierce straight through to my core.
Your gaze can do things to me,
That I never thought possible.
Your eyes on my body,
Makes me feel simply beautiful.

Your hair is flowing gold,
So incredibly delicate and precious.
I want to reach out and touch it,
Run my fingers through the strands,
Feel the liquid metal seep through my grasp.

And that smile.
Damn girl, that smile is incredible.
It sends a shiver down my smile,
While making the whole room glow.

Close my eyes

When my dreams are full of turmoil

My soul is filled with our love
A smile takes it's place on my face

I see your smiling face
My heart skips a beat
You pull me in and kiss me
I am complete

I cannot wait for this to be my everday
I cannot wait to fall asleep in your arms
I cannot wait to dance with you to those love songs
I cannot wait to be your bride

I Miss YouI know this to be honest, I know this to be true,
I truly miss your friendship, I miss time spent with you.
You always made me smile, you never let me down,
You kept me above water, you never let me drown.
You showed me I was worthy, worthy to befriend,
My highest expectations you managed to transcend.
I'm embarrassed to confess, just how much you are missed,
The hole you left in my life, makes it hard to coexist.

Already Yours.A soft little touch, a fast sweet kiss,
One long talk about all that we miss,
A cute quick text, a sleepless night,
Not enough songs that explain just right.

The first real dance, an endless call,
A scream of victory for finding it all.
One big grin, a romantic night for two,
Thinking of all that for you I'd go through.

Every too short date, every silent wish,
The beginning that brought us to this finish.
All the lasting promises, one eternal vow,

Holding hands? A clever way of fighting off the cold
Telling every secret so they don't remain untold
Laughing, though he's said it oh so many times before
Staring deep into his eyes to open rusted doors
Staying up to talk to him, but only for support
Innocent intentions others do tend to distort
Kissing him so gently, promises until the end…
Can't destroy this happiness with such a loyal friend…

I'm kinda going through a thing with "love" right now... not like "OMG MY BF IS LIKE SO OMG" 'cause I don't have a boyfriend

But love poems are like reminders of a bunch of stressful stuff going on right now... so I hate them xD
